THE FINAL EXHIBIT at the Altered Space Gallery in Venice will feature new works by Los Angeles artists Lillian Abel, Susan Feldman and Karrie Ross, including Seeding (above) by Ross.

The Altered Space Gallery in Venice will kick off an exhibit of new works by three Los Angeles artists Sunday, May 26, with an opening reception from 3-6 p.m.
The exhibit featuring recent art by Lillian Abel, Susan Feldman and Karrie Ross will be the final show for the gallery, which closes June 30.
All three artists featured in the exhibit live and work in Los Angeles.
Abel paints in waves of color, creating compositions inhabiting a space somewhere in between a landscape and an abstract color field. Feldman constructs “ladders” of reclaimed wood, yarn and jute, aspiring to transcend their earthly constraints.
Ross paints canvases immersed in the continuous application of energy, revealing a divine sense of order and purpose amid seemingly chaotic components, a gallery spokesperson said.
Altered Space Gallery is at 1221 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice.
