The third annual Art for Hearts event benefiting the Pico Youth and Family Center in Santa Monica will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 at the Annenberg Community Beach House, 415 Pacific Coast Highway, Santa Monica.
Art for Hearts will include a silent auction of uniquely-crafted hearts and other art by youth artists and established artists such as Michael Amescua, Judy Baca, Barbara Carrasco, Robbie Conal, Alex Kizu, Ernie Lucero, J.C. Hernandez Munoz and others.
The event will also feature music by the Santa Monica High School jazz band, food, wine, and guest appearances.
Since 2002, the Pico Youth and Family Center, a Santa Monica nonprofit organization, has served hundreds of at-risk youths on the Westside by providing much needed case management, counseling, tutoring, computer training, job readiness preparation, and music production training.
The center works with youths aged 16 to 24 who are considered most at risk, including those who are failing academically, are not in school, or on probation.
Tickets to the event are $35 per person or $50 per couple.
