The Big Blue Bus of Santa Monica will hold a series of community meetings this month and in early February to seek public input about a variety of upcoming projects and initiatives the agency is planning for 2010.
Items to be discussed include the bus stop redevelopment program, a proposed fare restructure proposal, redevelopment of the Tide Ride, the agency’s new proposed Web site, and the new hybrid buses that will be joining the fleet this year.
Community meetings will be held:
Thursday, January 21st, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Montana Branch Library, 1704 Montana Ave., Santa Monica;
Monday, January 25th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fairview Branch Library, 2101 Ocean Park Blvd., Santa Monica;
Saturday, January 30th, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Main Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica, and Tuesday, February 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m., also at the Main Library.
All locations can be accessed via the Big Blue Bus.
