to provide election programming
CityTV of Santa Monica has partnered with Time Warner to make its election programming Tuesday, November 4th, available on its onDemand service on cable channel 1.
The programming is available at no charge and eventually will include all Santa Monica candidate programming, a CityTV spokesperson said.
In addition, on election night, for those wanting Santa Monica election results, CityTV cable channel 16 will exclusively provide Santa Monica election results all night November 4th. Beginning at 8 p.m., CityTV will air election results as they are received from the Los Angeles County Registrar’s Office.
The results will be continuously updated and aired throughout the evening until the final semi-official results are in.
CityTV will air the Santa Monica final election results until noon Wednesday, November 5th, so those who don’t stay up late can see the results by tuning in to channel 16 the next morning, the station spokesperson said.
CityTV is the government cable channel for the City of Santa Monica. Viewed on cable channel 16, CityTV is available to the over 24,000 households in Santa Monica that subscribe to cable television.
