The fall 2007 United States Youth Volleyball League season is scheduled to begin at Clover Park in Santa Monica Wednesday, September 12th.
Registration for the eight-week program ends August 31st.
League practices are scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and games are scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturdays.
No experience is necessary to play. Every player receives a uniform T-shirt, a volleyball and a participation medal.
The U.S. Youth Volleyball League is an instructional volleyball league that operates in a co-ed format for boys and girls ages seven to 14.
The organization’s mission is to provide every child with a chance to learn and play volleyball in a fun, safe, supervised, low-pressure environment, according to the league.
Volleyball League officials said the league aims at allowing every youngster to play and learn the game, with an emphasis on sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork.
