Longtime Westchester resident Doris J. Mazerov, a soloist and choir director at the Congregational Church of the Messiah in Westchester for seven years, has died. She was 86.
Mazerov was the daughter of Willard and Alice Bailey and the widow of Paul Mazerov.
She attended UCLA, where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.
A vocalist who sang in the Hollywood Bowl Chorus, Mazerov was a semi-finalist in the Young Artists Competition.
Mazerov, who was also an actress, director and producer, was a member of the Congregational Church of the Messiah in Westchester.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Brown; a son, David James Brown; a grandson, Gregory David; and a granddaughter, Allison Ann Brown. A son, Steven Wayne Brown, preceded her in death.
Memorial services for Mazerov are scheduled at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 10th, at the Congregational Church of the Mes- siah, 7300 Manchester Ave., Westchester.
Pastor David Gray will officiate the services.
