The Beach Club in Santa Monica hosted more than 30 old and new friends of Easter Seals Southern California May 1st to generate greater community awareness for local services for people with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Guests included Easter Seals spokesperson Debby Boone, a singer and seven-time Grammy Award winner, former TV personality Geri Jewell, musician Tobi Forrest and comedienne Kathy Buckley.

Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for more than 90 years. Whether helping someone simply gain greater independence for everyday living, or secure employment, Easter Seals officials say the organization offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals.

Easter Seals Southern California serves more than 2,000 adults and children with disabilities and their families annually through 70 offices and service sites
