Final results have been announced for the election of the Grass Roots Venice Neighborhood Council, held Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th, at Venice High School in Mar Vista.

Twenty-one members have been elected to serve on the Grass Roots Venice Neighborhood Council.

Fifty-four candidates ran in the election to fill all 21 council seats, including seven executive committee seats, seven at-large seats and seven district seats.

According to final election results, 1,204 Venice community stakeholders voted in the election.

The seven executive committee members elected and their final election vote tally are:

– President (one-year term), DeDe Audet — 581

– Vice president (one-year term), Naomi Nightingale — 772

– Second vice president (one-year term), Yolanda Gonzalez — 601

– Government relations (one-year term), L.J. Carusone — 583
