Marina del Rey will usher in the New Year with a five-minute fireworks spectacular beginning at the 30-second countdown to midnight on Friday, Dec. 31.
The show is presented by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale, which originated more than 100 years ago in Italy. The fireworks will be shot off the south jetty and can be viewed throughout the Marina.
According to the county Department of Beaches and Harbors, some of the best locations for viewing the show are Fisherman’s Village at 13755 Fiji Way and Burton Chace Park at 13650 Mindanao Way.
Parking on New Year’s Eve is available in Los Angeles County lots throughout Marina del Rey.
The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular is organized by the Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade committee and made possible with the contributions of Rikki Barker, The Boat Yard, California Yacht Club, Joe & Lynne Callinan, C&O Cucina, C&O Trattoria, City National Security Services, Del Rey Landing, Del Rey Yacht Club, First Bank, H.B.
