Grace Cheng Braun, a Santa Monica resident, has been named president and chief executive officer of WISE Senior Services, a nonprofit organization for seniors throughout the Los Angeles area.
The WISE main office is in Santa Monica.
Cheng Braun has been a healthcare administrator, business coach and educator in Southern California for more than 20 years.
WISE services and programs include nursing home advocacy, care management, transportation, an adult daycare center in Santa Monica, an adult day support center in Koreatown, elder abuse prevention, a senior volunteer program and an education program to inform seniors about economic and consumer issues.
Prior to joining WISE, Cheng Braun was vice president of marketing and public relations for Cedars-Sinai Health System.
She was also associate director of business and organizational development for the Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center.
Most recently, she has worked as an executive business coach and management consultant.
For the past five years, she has been a lecturer in the International Public Policy and Management Program at the University of Southern California.
Cheng Braun has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of California Riverside and a master’s degree in health planning from University of California at Los Angeles.
