“Iconoclassic,” a group exhibition of works by nine artists, is being presented at the Bleicher/Golightly gallery in Santa Monica through Wednesday, February 24th.

The exhibition, which opened February 11th, features artists who work in a variety of genres with a common desire to “push the envelope and develop work in new directions, a gallery spokesperson said. The artists include Stephen Anderson, David Brokaw, Dianna Cohen, Michael Giancristiano, Melissa Meier, Joella March, Joy Shannon, Mee Kyung Shim and Lacey Terrell.

Works include kinetic art, pyrography (blow torch), manipulated photography, 3-D collage (pop-up), lightworks, found object, conceptual, mixed media (plastic, LED), sculpture and painting.

A house concert is scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, February 19th at the gallery, 1431 Ocean Ave., Santa Monica. Concert admission is free.

The gallery is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 1 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, or by appointment.
