Loyola Marymount University’s (LMU) School of Education—has been ranked among the top schools nationwide in the U.S. News & World Report’s latest listing of graduate schools of education.

LMU placed 131st on the list of the more than 250 schools of education surveyed and out of 800 schools of education nationwide. The Westchester university was the fifth-highest ranked Jesuit institution and the 12th-ranked school in California.

“The School of Education is proud to once again be recognized by the U.S. News & World Report,” said Shane P. Martin, dean of the School of Education.

“These rankings reflect the commitment and dedication of our faculty, staff and students. I know we’ll continue to work hard and move forward in the years to come.”
