Westchester Lutheran School and church raised $15,000 last month for Red Cross work in Indonesia after the tsunami.

Of the total, $9,000 came from the school and included a rummage sale that raised $3,000 and a matching $3,000 from a Lutheran financial services company.

Wolfpack Pride, a middle school service club, and the Luther League, a church youth group — with assistance of the Parent Support Organization and other parent volunteers — organized a rummage sale Saturday, January 29th, that raised $3,000. Thrivent Financial, a Lutheran Church financial services company matched the $3,000 — to be added to the $9,000 the students raised.
