Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is scheduled to address the Del Rey Homeowners and Neighbors Association at its fall general meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 1st, at the Marina del Rey Middle School Multipurpose Room, 12500 Braddock Drive, Del Rey.
There is no charge to attend. Parking will be available in both lots in front of the school as well as through the school’s Westlawn gate.
The evening is co-sponsored by the Del Rey Neighborhood Council.
“We are extremely excited that Mayor Villaraigosa is taking the time to come meet with our community so early in his tenure,” said Chris Nevil, president of the association.
“We feel that this speaks clearly of the mayor’s desire to be accessible to all corners of the city and also to the hard work of active Del Rey stakeholders to put our community ‘on the map.’
“This is a major milestone for Del Rey and we hope people from throughout the community will attend this important event,” he said.
Recently-elected Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl is scheduled to introduce Villa-raigosa.
After his address, Villaraigosa will take questions from the audience.
