Santa Monica Public Library will present “Mindfulness Meditation,” a seminar offered by UCLA Health System, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 5th, in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
This interactive program will focus on mindful awareness techniques that enable one to pay attention to experiences as they unfold.
Experts will discuss the science behind mindfulness and its effectiveness in reducing stress, boosting the immune system, increasing attention and creating a general sense of well-being.
This program is free and open to the public and reservations are not required. Non-reserved seating is limited and on a first arrival basis.
