Los Angeles police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of a 21-year-old man wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a homeless man in Venice December 8th.
Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Pacific detectives obtained the arrest warrant Friday, December 12th, for Noe Rodriguez, who has no known address, police said. Rodriguez, who allegedly has numerous aliases and is a federal deportee, is a suspect in the shooting death of a 50-year-old man in a Venice alley, police said.
The victim, who was not identified pending notification of next of kin, was in an alley in the 1600 block of Lincoln Boulevard at about 7:40 p.m. December 8th, when a suspect approached him and shot him to death with a large-caliber handgun, police alleged.
The suspect then rode away on a bicycle northbound on Lincoln towards Palms Boulevard.
Police have not determined a motive for the fatal shooting.
