Santa Monica police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting in the Pico Neighborhood of Santa Monica Friday night, May 15th.

The incident occurred in the 2800 block of Delaware Avenue, near Stewart Street Park, at 9:23 p.m., when some residents were coming home and two suspects approached them in their vehicle, Santa Monica Lt. Mike Beautz said.

One of the suspects then allegedly fired several shots at the vehicle, but no one was injured, Beautz said. The suspects fled west from the area on foot, he said. No vehicle was seen leaving at the time.

Police said preliminary investigation indicates that the victims may have been targeted due to previous incidents in which they were involved.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, six-foot-one, weighing about 150 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark plaid shorts and white pulled-up socks, police said. He also has a pale complexion with acne.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, five-foot-seven, stocky build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark plaid shorts and white pulled up socks.
