The man Santa Monica Police allege is responsible for the stabbing of another man at a music awards ceremony melee Monday, November 15th, at the Santa Monica Airport Barker Hangar, surrendered to Santa Monica Police at about 1 p.m. Friday, November 19th.

David Darnell Brown, a hip-hop entertainer also known as “Young Buck” — with his attorney present — turned himself in at Santa Monica Police headquarters.

Brown was arrested on one count of attempted murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon and was booked at the Santa Monica Jail.

His bail was set at $500,000. Brown posted bail and was released.

Brown is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court for an arraignment hearing Monday, December 20th, at the Airport Courthouse near Los Angeles International Airport.
