State Assemblyman Curren D. Price, who represents the 51st Assembly District, held a town hall meeting in Westchester Saturday, March 10th, and was accompanied by two of his Westside colleagues, State Assembly- man Ted Lieu of the 53rd District and Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl of District 11.
Both Lieu and Rosendahl gave praise to Price for being elected to office last year, chairing the State Assembly Elections and Redistricting Committee and for recently being named “Legislator of the Year” by the University of California Students Association.
“I am gratified and encouraged by the turnout of this community town hall meeting and especially to see that Assembly- member Lieu andd Los Angeles City Councilmember Bill Rosendahl have joined me in listening to the concerns of our communities,” Price said. “Working together, I am certain that we will be able to make a terrific difference in our neighborhoods and in our children’s futures.”
Westchester resident Stuart Garrison, president of Westchester Neighborhood Association, commented on how Price, Lieu and Rosendahl united “for the common interest of constituents.”
The 51st and 53rd Assembly Districts include a number of local and South Bay areas.
