The Cal Society of CPAs will host a 5k run and walk, a 10k run and a 1k children’s run with proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Venice Sunday, November 19th.

Pre-registration fees are $25 for the 5k and 10k and $10 for the 1k. After Tuesday, November 14th, fees are $30 for the 5k and 10k and $10 for the 1k.

Registrations will be accepted Saturday, November 18th, at the Niketown Los Angeles retail store, 9560 Wilshire Blvd. at Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.

Registrations will also be accepted race morning from 6:30 a.m. until the start of the applicant’s run at the race site, 11640 San Vicente Blvd. at Darlington Avenue, Brentwood.

Youngsters can join the Nike’s Boys & Girls of Venice Race Team by contacting the club’s teen services director, Mubarrak Hasan, (310) 390-4477.

All event participants will receive a T-shirt, goodies and other prizes. The event is officially named the Fall Harvest Run/ Walk & Feast.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, organizers suggest that event participants bring canned food, a new blanket and/or baby clothes to be donated to the Westside Food Bank. Donors will receive a free ticket for the prize drawing.
