THE SUSPECT is described as a white man, approximately 30 years old, 5-foot-6, with a thin muscular build, short dark brown hair and a full beard.

Santa Monica police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on a beach earlier this month.
The woman told officers that she was running along the beach at about 4:50 a.m. Oct. 10, when she saw a man running directly towards her as she passed Lifeguard Tower 8 in the 800 block of the beach, Santa Monica police Sgt. Richard Lewis said.
The woman tried running away from the suspect but he chased her and wrestled her down to the sand, Lewis said.
The suspect allegedly physically and sexually assaulted the victim, who continued to fight and was able to free herself and run towards the Pacific Coast Highway, Lewis said.
The suspect was last seen walking away northbound from the area.
Police said the suspect is described as a white man, approximately 30 years old, 5-foot-6, with a thin muscular build, short dark brown hair, a full beard, and wearing only blue jean shorts.
The investigation is ongoing.
