The Los Angeles Department of Public Works and the Department of Transportation have released their work schedule for road improvements in Westchester for the month of July.
Repairs and improvements, which began on June 29th, will include installation of a new storm drainpipe on Sepulveda
Boulevard from Westchester Parkway to just north of 89th Street. This will relieve the high water flows at the intersection during rain events, department representatives said.
New catch basins along both sides of Sepulveda just north of 89th Street and on both sides of 89th Street just east of Sepulveda will also be installed.
Crews are scheduled to work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at night between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.
Some work on the weekends may also occur. Entrances from Sepulveda Boulevard will be maintained.
During daytime work, at least two lanes in each direction will be open at all times. During nighttime work, at least one lane in each direction will be maintained.
Street parking will be temporarily removed in the following areas:
Sepulveda north of 89th Street, and on 89th just east of Sepulveda.
