Applications are being accepted for participation in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Marina del Rey Station Youth Activities League.
The Youth Activities League is a free year-round after-school program that provides homework assistance, computer labs, athletic activities, educational field trips and water activities for community youths ages eight to 17.
The league activities will run from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays in the community room at Ladera Park, 6027 Ladera Park Ave., Ladera Heights.
Upcoming activities that the Youth Activities League has planned include Marina del Rey Anglers summer fishing trips, camping trips, a field trip to Fresno State University and various field trips to museums and libraries.
