After closing temporarily in November, the St. Joseph Center thrift store will be re-opened at a new location in Santa Monica Saturday, March 27th.
The Venice-based social service agency’s thrift store offers a variety of shoes, clothing, accessories and furniture that can be purchased at bargain prices. Among the brand name items for sale are Jimmy Choo and Prada shoes, and BCBG and Bebe clothing and accessories.
In addition, donations of high quality items in good, saleable conditions can be made via the rear entrance. St. Joseph Center raises money through sales stemming from the thrift store, an agency spokesperson said.
St. Joseph Center’s mission is to provide working poor families, as well as homeless men, women and children of all ages, with the inner resources and tools to become productive, stable and self supporting members of the community.
The new thrift store is at 1828 Lincoln Blvd., Santa Monica. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
