BURGLARY

A laptop valued at $3,000, a GPS valued at $450, binoculars valued at $400 and binoculars valued at $150 were taken in the 13500 block of Mindanao Way between 9 p.m. Monday, September 13th and 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, September 14th.

Computers, a fax machine and a safe were taken in the 13700 block of Fiji Way the night of Wednesday, August 25th.

An out-drive and propeller valued at $5,000, a water exhaust system valued at $2,000 and a bimini cover valued at $300 were taken in the 13400 block of Mindanao Way between July 22nd and September 10th.

A wallet valued at $50, U.S. and European currency valued at $800, two watches valued at $1,000, two rings valued at $2,800, a camera valued at $400 and a camcorder valued at $500 were taken in the 4200 block of Marina City Drive between 9:30 p.m. Monday, August 30th, and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 31st.

Sailing hardware valued at $489 and a pulley valued at $84 were taken from a boat in Basin E between 4:30 p.m. Saturday, August 7th, and 8 p.m. Sunday, August 26th.

GRAND THEFT

A watch valued at $500, a ring valued at $500, and a necklace valued at $500 were taken in the 13900 block of Fiji Way between 10 and 11 a.m. Thursday, September 2nd.

PETTY THEFT

Two bicycles, each valued at $100 were taken in the 4200 block of Via Marina between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, August 23rd.

Someone took a box of checks valued at $12 in the 4100 block of Via Marina Wednesday, April 14th.

ROBBERY

A night manager was sitting behind a counter of a business in the 4100 block of Via Marina at 1 a.m. Monday, August 30th, when two robbers approached behind the counter.

The night manager stood up from his chair and tried to push the two robbers out from behind the counter. Before the night manager could stand up, one of the robbers punched the night manager on the left side of his face and kicked his glasses to the ground.

The night manager continued to struggle with the robbers but was punched in the nose and cut along his left eyebrow. After the night manager pushed the two robbers out from behind the counter, one of the robbers said, “I have a knife.”

The robbers locked the night manager in an office restroom. From inside the restroom, the night manager could hear the robbers ransacking the office.

It is believed the robbers took approximately $450 from a cash drawer.

The night manager was treated by paramedics and transported to Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital, where he received 12 stitches to a cut on his left eyebrow.

VANDALISM

A hole was drilled in the front hull of a 1980 Sea Ray boat in the 13400 block of Mindanao Way between 4 p.m. Monday, April 23rd, and 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 31st. Damage was $150.
