WANTED TO BAKE SOME

A man was arrested in the 300 block of Wilshire Boulevard Tuesday, August 31st, at 8:45 p.m. after he allegedly walked into a store, concealed a batter mixer and a rolling pin and walked out of the store without paying for the baking items.

Police were called to the location and arrested the individual. The recovered kitchen supplies were valued at $125.

ALLEGED AUTO BURGLAR ARRESTED

Police were called to the 2100 block of California Avenue Monday, August 30th, at 9:29 a.m. regarding an auto burglary in process and found a suspect in the vicinity of the reported crime. The suspect was positively identified by a witness, arrested, and booked at Santa Monica Jail.

A man was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal four pairs of jeans in the 1300 block of Third Street Saturday, August 28th.

The four pair of jeans were valued at $258.

The man was arrested and charged with petty theft.

TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED CAR THEFT

Two suspects were arrested in the 1500 block of the beach parking lot Sunday, August 29th at 9:31 p.m. for allegedly attempting to steal a car.

The suspects were booked at Santa Monica Jail.

OF WOMAN ARRESTED

ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

Police were called to the 1900 block of 14th Street Monday, August 30th, at 11:15 p.m. after a domestic violence report.

Officers spoke to the victim who said that her ex-boyfriend had stolen her property and threatened her with a large knife.

While police were speaking with the victim, the suspect allegedly called the victim and said that he was just involved in a traffic accident on the Santa Monica Freeway at La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.

Santa Monica police responded to the freeway location and arrested the suspect for armed robbery, driving under the influence, hit and run, and domestic violence. The suspect was taken to Santa Monica Jail.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the traffic accident.

WHY HE WAS PUNCHED?

A man in the 1200 block of 12th Street called the police Tuesday, August 31st, at 6:45 a.m. after he claimed a man closed his fist and punched him on the left shoulder for no apparent reason.

Officers arrested the suspect for assault and battery.

SLEEPYÖ ZZZZ Ö SUSPECT ARRESTED

The manager of a motel in the 800 block of Grant Avenue told police that a suspect removed a screen window of a motel unit, entered the unit and went to sleep on the bed.

Police found the man sleeping on the bed, arrested him and booked him at the Santa Monica Jail for trespassing.
