BOOKED FOR STEALING COMPUTER ACCESSORIES

Police were called to a store in the 1200 block of the Third Street Promenade at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, January 19th, where a store loss prevention officer told them that two suspects allegedly entered the store, removed computer accessories valued at $258 and left without paying.

The two suspects were arrested outside the store and booked in Santa Monica Jail for commercial burglary.

ALLEGED SEXUAL BATTERY ON WOMAN IN PARK

A woman in the 2600 block of Ocean Park Boulevard told police at 10:34 a.m. Friday, January 20th, that while she was in a park, a suspect allegedly approached her and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect then fled.

When police arrived, the woman directed officers to the location where she last saw the suspect on foot.

Police searched the area and located the suspect in the 1600 block of Pearl Street.

The suspect was arrested and booked in Santa Monica Jail for sexual battery.

ARRESTED FOR STEALING EARRINGS AND PURSE

A loss prevention officer at a store in the 100 block of Santa Monica Place told police at 1:03 p.m. Saturday, January 21st, that a suspect allegedly entered the store, removed two pairs of earrings and a purse and left without paying.

The items were valued at $235.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Santa Monica Jail, where she was booked for commercial burglary.

ARRESTED FOR STEALING BOOKS FROM STORE

An employee at a book store in the 1200 block of the Third Street Promenade told police at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, January 21st, that a suspect allegedly entered the store, removed books valued at $41 and left without paying.

The suspect was arrested and booked in Santa Monica Jail for petty theft.

MAN ALLEGEDLY STOLE RADIO FROM SICK WOMAN

A woman in the area of Ocean Avenue and Pico Boulevard told police at 11:25 a.m. Monday, January 23rd, that she was sick and that while she was vomiting, a suspect allegedly stole her radio.

The suspect was arrested at the location and taken to Santa Monica Jail, where he was booked for grand theft from a person.

ALLEGEDLY STOLE FOOD, WATER AND MEDICINE

Police were called to a store in the 700 block of Broadway at 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 25th, where a store loss prevention officer told them that a suspect had allegedly entered the store, stolen frozen chicken, water and cough medicine and left without paying.

The items were valued at $87.66.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Santa Monica Jail, where he was booked for commercial burglary.
