ARRESTED FOR SWITCHING PRICE TAGS TO PAY LESS

Police were called to a store in the 100 block of Santa Monica Place at 7:06 p.m. Sunday, November 20th, where two theft suspects were in custody.

A store loss prevention officer told police that two suspects allegedly entered the store, switched the price tags on several merchandise items and paid for some of the items at a lower price.

The items were valued at over $600.

The suspects were arrested outside of the store and taken to Santa Monica Jail, where they were booked for commercial burglary.

SUSPECT BOOKED FOR STEALING BRACELET

Police were called to a store in the 100 block of Santa Monica Place at 1:21 p.m. Monday, November 21st, where a theft suspect was in custody.

A store loss prevention officer told police that the suspect allegedly entered the store, took a bracelet valued at $22 and left without paying.

The suspect was arrested and booked in Santa Monica Jail for petty theft.

SUSPECT ALLEGEDLY

ASSAULTED OFFICER

Two community service officers in the 1400 block of Second Street told police at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday, November 23rd, that they saw a suspect allegedly urinating in public on a wall.

When the community service officers approached the suspect, he became angry and allegedly struck one of the officers with his fist in the lower portion of the body.

The suspect was arrested and taken to Santa Monica Jail, where he was booked for urinating in public and assault.

ONE BURGLARY SUSPECT CAUGHT, SECOND FLEES

Police were called to a store in the 2400 block of Pico Boulevard at 2:16 p.m. Sunday, November 27th, where a theft suspect was in custody.

A store employee told police that a suspect allegedly entered the store and stole merchandise from the display rack with the aid of a second suspect.

The first suspect was arrested outside of the store, but the second suspect fled and was not apprehended.

The stolen items, valued at $349.27, were recovered.

The first suspect was taken to Santa Monica Jail, where he was booked for commercial burglary.

BOOKED FOR STEALING BOTTLE OF COLOGNE

Police were called to a store in the 100 block of Santa Monica Place at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, November 27th, where a theft suspect was in custody.

A store loss prevention officer alleged to police that a suspect entered the store, removed a bottle of cologne valued at $125 from the shelf, concealed the bottle and left without paying.

The suspect was arrested and booked in Santa Monica Jail for petty theft.

FOR STEALING PANTS

A store loss prevention officer in the 100 block of Santa Monica Place told police at 6:50 p.m. Monday, November 28th, that a suspect allegedly entered the store, concealed two pairs of pants inside a backpack and left the store without paying.

The suspect was arrested outside the store and taken to Santa Monica Jail, where he was booked for petty theft.
