ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTED MAN WITH WATER BOTTLE

A man in the 2800 block of Lincoln Boulevard told police at 10 p.m. Sunday, November 11th, that he was sitting inside a car with a female acquaintance when they got into an argument.

The woman then allegedly grabbed a water bottle and threw it at the man’s face, cutting his lip. She also allegedly punched him several times in the face and the man then got out of the car and walked home.

The woman, who is 27 years old, was not apprehended.

ARRESTED FOR GRABBING WOMAN’S CHEST AT SHOP

Police were called to a coffee store in the 1400 block of the Third Street Promenade at 10:25 a.m. Monday, November 12th, where a woman alleged that she had bought a cup of coffee and was at the condiment section when a male suspect reached over and grabbed her breast.

The woman then screamed and pushed him away and employees called police.

Employees detained the suspect outside the store and released him to police, who arrested him and booked him in Santa Monica Jail for sexual battery, probation violation and public intoxication.

POSTAL CARRIER BOOKED FOR DRUG POSSESSION

Postal service workers in the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue alleged to police at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 13th, that they detained a carrier who had been smoking marijuana while on the postal route.

The workers also found that the carrier was allegedly in possession of marijuana and $600 in cash inside the vehicle.

The suspect was arrested and booked for possession of marijuana for sale.

ARRESTED FOR BREAKING DOOR OF PARTS SHOP

Police were called to an auto parts store in the 2000 block of Lincoln Boulevard at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday, November 13th, where a store employee said that he was inside the store waiting for a ride home when he saw a suspect, who wanted to buy a car part, walk up to the door.

When the employee told the suspect that the store was closed, he allegedly became upset and shook the door handle forcefully, breaking the door open. Once the door was open, the suspect then said he wanted to buy the item.

The damage to the door was estimated at $600.

The suspect then fled but was detained a block away by police, who arrested him and booked him for felony vandalism and probation violation.

ALLEGEDLY HIT MAN, TOOK TWO NECKLACES

A man in the area of 26th Street and Olympic Boulevard told police at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 14th, that he was sitting on the curb when a suspect he knows walked up to him and said he was disrespecting him.

The suspect then allegedly punched the man several times in the face and took two necklaces that the man was wearing and threw them on the ground.

Police, who detained the suspect a block away, arrested him and booked him for strong-arm robbery and probation violation.

ARRESTED FOR ACTING DISRUPTIVE INSIDE BAR

Employees at a bar in the 2900 block of Main Street alleged to police at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 14th, that a suspect was being disruptive inside the bar and threatening people.

The suspect went to the bar and ordered French fries but when an employee said he couldn’t eat there, the suspect became angry.

Employees then escorted the suspect outside, where he continued to act disruptive.

Police were flagged down and arrested the suspect, who was booked for disturbing the peace.
