What is being released in my Mar Vista neighborhood at 4 47 this morning that I can hear? It sounds like a gas coming out of a pipe or water moving in a pipe or oil moving underground. I hear it every night when i have to get up to bathroom. I want to know is it methane being released by the gas company of what is going on in the stillness of night? I know we have large pipes under our houses. I am not going to give up looking into this- I am tired of it. It could be steam escaping. I always think I have something I need to tend to at my house. Please inform. I saw your article from last year, has a rupture happened again of a storage tank or oil well in the Marina area?
(An earlier email indicated the buy was for one thousand dollars, yetthis correction stipulates the investment was, one dollar) There is a reporter in your office I would like to see, or view some pictures of a 1968 paperback book, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, by B. Traven, which has an autograph that is curious. It has been amazing and fun thinking it is real classic. A couple of summers ago, right there in your hometown, I attended a classic movie showing with a reporter from the Gazette, who was hosting the classic movie, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, at the ART Theater, downtown arts district. The reporter from your beautiful news spot is perfect host for the movie. He loves that movie. While on vacation I came across a paperback novel from the year 1935, an authorized reprint of a hardcover edition. The book is Treasure of the Sierra Madre, by B. Traven. A note indicates it is from the library of Joe Grath. A handwritten note note says Dear Joe, To a great guy, B. Traven 1935. I have saved this book for a few years. I bought it in a coffee shop in Venice Beach. I paid one thousand dollars for it. All of this is very sure, and I have the chipped, and torn paperback book in a stored compartment in my home. It is with me here in Las Vegas. The cover is in color. The promotions page says B. Travers is one of the most mysterious personalities in contemporary literature. ..who safeguards his obscurity in Mexico, where he has lived for many years. He remains anonymous and grants no interviews. I could send digital pictures. It is in poor condition some might say, then again it seems legible, and near perfect to me. The signatures were made later, were they forged? you may ask, and this I can deduce, because this is a 3rd edition book from 1968. It is a thriller. you may have read it. I know you may have seen the movie. The paperback is three hundred twenty pages. I am holding it up like a panhandler, kneeling in Copper Creek.I think this is a treasure find. Have you an offer ? Please send me an email address, and advise me what to do. I am a writer, I have written a book recently called Greenstreet. It is available online under my name, B & N , Amazon. Digital, too.If you want to know more about that, here is a link.stevenpankeyhttp://www.pagepublishing.com/books/?book=greenstreet ✔ ✔
