A Kentwood Kids theater production of Lewis Carroll’s classic story Alice in Wonderland will be performed at the Westchester Playhouse on Saturdays through Dec. 11.
Performances are scheduled at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays, Nov. 20 and 27, and Dec. 4 and 11 at the playhouse, 8301 Hindry Ave., Westchester.
Presented by the Kentwood Players theater group, this two-act musical adaptation follows Alice as she journeys down the rabbit hole and encounters all the quirky, colorful and crazy residents of Wonderland, as well as a few surprises along the way.
The production is directed by Jeremy Speed Schwartz and Meredith M. Sweeney.
The all-kids cast features Valentina Povolo, Beatriz Valente and Rocio Vietina as Alice, and includes Colette Araque, Melissa Cruz, Emma Erenmark, Fei Ewald, Han Ewald, Casey Gabriel, Logan Hannig, Katie Harfouch, Kalani Hildebrand, Osric Holt, Kobe Kubes, Caroline Macou, Margerite Nunez, Grace Rector, Claire Schaaf, Skylar Washington and Maddie Wilner.
All audience members are invited to meet the cast and enjoy refreshments in the theater lobby after the performance. Parents are welcome to bring a camera for photo opportunities during the after-performance reception only.
