The Angelic Auxiliary of Children’s Bureau raised approximately $125,000 for Children’s Bureau’s child abuse prevention and treatment programs at the sixth annual “Carnival at the Pier” on the Santa Monica Pier Sunday, March 9th.

Nearly 500 children and parents attended the event.

“The sun was shining on Sunday and so were the Angelics,” said Luann Williams, president of the Angelic Auxiliary. “We are thrilled with the success of Sunday’s event and the money raised for Children’s Bureau. Family and friends filled the pier with the heartwarming support that never ceases to amaze us. It was truly a spectacular day.”

The carnival featured various activities for children of all ages, including unlimited amusement park rides, carnival games, a face painter and a raffle drawing.

The Angelic Auxiliary has raised nearly $1.1 million dollars for Children’s Bureau since the auxiliary was established in 1996.
