The Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Department of Music will present its annual Gala Christmas Choral Concert at 8 p.m. Thursday and Saturday, December 10th and 12th in Sacred Heart Chapel, 1 LMU Drive, Westchester.

The concert includes the LMU Consort Singers, the Women’s Chorus and the Concert Choir, Dr. Mary C. Breden, director of choral activities, is the conductor.

Among the works being performed at this year’s concert will be Antonín Tucapsky’s The Time of Christmas, Z. Randall Stroope’s Hodie!, as well as works by Schutz, Elgar, Nestor and Wilberg, and a rendition of holiday favorite Hark, The Herald Angels Sing! The choruses will combine with brass in celebration of the joy of Christmas Day for this festive finale.

Tickets are $12 for Thursday, December 10th, and $15 or $12 for Saturday, December 12th. Discount prices are available to faculty, senior citizens, and students. LMU students can purchase a ticket for either performance for $5 by presenting their current student identification at the Central Ticket Agency.
