President Carter will not be making an appearance next week at the Neighborhood Justice Center on Venice Boulevard, according to a spokesman of the Los Angeles County Bar Association late Wednesday afternoon.
There have been a few rumors around town that the president would be in the neighborhood during his visit to Los Angeles Thursday, May 4th.
Apparently the new justice center on Venice Boulevard was among sites offered the president as a symbolic visit during Carter’s Los Angeles stay.
As far as we know, the President’s address at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Thursday noon will be the only appearance associated with the county bar association, we were told Wednesday afternoon.
