The 3rd Annual Pico Art Walk and Car ShowÝwill beÝhappening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27th, along Pico Boulevard from Centinela Avenue to Main Street in Santa Monica.

The event will offer music performances, art, food and a car show. The “green-themed” annual event welcomes visitors to walk, ride bikes, or be shuttled along in one of the two London Double Decker buses that will transport visitors from Centinela to Main Street.

TheÝGrammyÝFoundation is sponsoring the live music stage at Virginia Avenue Park, featuring artists including the Jessie Allen Cooper Band.

Guests also can partake in a “Taste of Pico,” with complimentary food and beverages provided by local businesses and wine sponsored byÝHope Wine, a company that gives 50 percent of its profits to breast cancer, AIDS, and autism organizations.

The Santa Monica College Art Department will host demonstrations of glassblowing as well as displays of students’ ceramics and photography

The galleries and studios along Pico Boulevard will open their doors to showcase their works. For car enthusiasts, cars of the past and future will be highlighted in the Vintage Auto Show in the SGI (Soka Gakkai International) parking lot that will display over a hundred vintage automobiles. Alternative fuel-source cars will beÝshowcased in the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.

Free parking is at Santa Monica College and free bike valet service is available all day in Virginia Avenue Park.
