Volunteers from the American Red Cross of Santa Monica will host a “guest vendor” bazaar, yard sale and car wash “extravaganza” from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21st, at the Santa Monica Chapter, 1450 11th St., near Broadway.
Many items, including jewelry, candles, consumer electronics, designer clothing, trinkets, artwork and crafts from a number of artisans and vendors will be on sale at the bazaar, which will be held inside the facility.
World War II photographer “Flash” Pacheco will be on hand to take “old-time” vintage style photos of individuals, couples and families at the event.
Furniture, computer equipment and various collectibles will be on display in the adjoining yard sale in the chapter parking lot.
While shopping, visitors can get their car washed by American Red Cross youth volunteers. Cars are $6 and SUVs and light trucks are $8 and $10. All vehicles will be hand-washed and towel-dried by Santa Monica Red Cross youths.
All proceeds from the bazaar, parking lot sale and car wash extravaganza will benefit youth programs and other activities at the Santa Monica chapter of the American Red Cross.
