The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is conducting a paving project along Lincoln Boulevard, between Sepulveda Boulevard and La Tijera Boulevard in Westchester, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, June 13th.
The project will require up to two lanes in each direction to be closed during the construction hours.
The closures are related to grinding and resurfacing the 1.1-mile stretch of the highway, according to Caltrans.
Work consists of the removal of the existing pavement and resurfacing of Lincoln Boulevard. The project is expected to be completed by June 13th.
Signed detours will be posted to assist motorists. Closures are weather permitting and subject to change.
Caltrans officials remind motorists to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
