The Los Angeles City Fire Department’s Westside Community Emergency Response
Team (CERT) volunteers invite the public to renew various disaster first aid skills at a community meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 in the training room of Fire Station 5 in Westchester.
Patricia Nagy, a CERT member since 1988, will lead the session. Nagy has been an American Red Cross workplace training instructor in first aid/CPR/AED for over 24 years, and has been a volunteer for the program since she retired late last year.

The meeting is sponsored by CERT groups from West Los Angeles, representing CERT volunteers in LAFD Battalions 4, 9, and 18.
Admission is free.
Fire Station 5 is at 8900 S. Emerson Ave., Westchester.
The public is welcome, but due to limited seating, an RSVP is requested to firstname.lastname@example.org.
