Community members interested in receiving training for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) can now enroll for classes scheduled on three Saturdays in Marina del Rey next month.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department’s CERT training course will be presented as a series of three classes from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays, November 7th, 14th and 21st at Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey. CERT training is free of charge.

The CERT program was developed to provide basic training in safety and life saving skills for the general public.

Class size is limited, so participants are encouraged to enroll early to reserve a seat. All students must be at least 18 years old.
