The Venice Chamber of Commerce installed its new board of directors at its annual installation mixer Wednesday, June 28th.

More than 100 local business people and invited guests attended the installation event, which was held at Paleta on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice.

Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl swore in Alex Rosales of Control Printing as the new Venice Chamber of Commerce president.

Also installed were William Bush of Lifescapes, vice president; David Moring, attorney at law, secretary; and Mary Richert of the Venice Family Clinic, treasurer.

Each member of the board of directors serves a one-year term, which began July 1st.

Outgoing chamber president Robert Feist of Ravenswork Post Production Studio was awarded multiple plaques and certificates for his service to the community.

Levine, attorney at law; Jill Prestup, Prestup for Postscript; Jean Pritchard, My Favorite B&W Lab; Daniel Samakow, James Beach; Jeffrey Solomon, TryMarketing; Carol Tantau, Just Tantau; and Dan Valenzuela, community activist.

The chamber’s newly installed advisory board members and their businesses are Lucille Cappas, Venice Abbot Kinney Memorial Library; Jim Hubbard, Venice Arts; Nadine Rosales, Control Printing; Denise Ruttman, Solace; and Mark Sokul, Marina Pacific Hotel & Suites.

Janet Gervers of was appointed to the communications design position and Ursula Matheson of Delta Dawn, Inc. was appointed as an administrative assistant.
