The nonprofit organization Children Uniting Nations helped distribute toys with Santa Claus to local at-risk and foster youths during its annual toy drive at the Fred Segal store in Santa Monica Sunday, December 20th.

Children Uniting Nations, radio station KDay, and Fred Segal held the toy drive to provide gifts for the many foster youths who will not be able to celebrate the holidays with their families this year.

The event allowed the youngsters to receive gifts, enjoy festive foods, juices, and Christmas cookies, and play games like a group sing-along of “The 12 Days of Christmas.” KDay radio DJs also spun Christmas music for the kids, who got to meet Santa.

“This is something that anyone can participate in just by donating a simple gift that may be the only gift these children receive this holiday,” Children Uniting Nations founder Daphna Ziman said.

“We are asking our community to give the gift of letting our foster youth know that they are loved and supported this holiday season.”
