The City of Los Angeles has made available a copy of the draft environmental assessment (EA) report for the project to restore three holes at the Westchester Golf Course near Los Angeles International Airport.

The city has proposed to construct three new holes at the course and modify two holes at the currently 15-hole Westchester Golf Course.

A draft EA has been prepared to examine the environmental consequences of the proposed project. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the lead agency under the National Environmental Policy Act.

Comments received will be addressed and the results will be included in the final EA. Written comments may be submitted to Herb Glasgow, senior planner, Los Angeles World Airports, 1 World Way, Room 218, Los Angeles, 90045. Comments must be received no later than 5 p.m. Monday, June 15th.
