The California Coastal Commission last week extended the public hearing process for a periodic review of the Marina del Rey Local Coastal Program (LCP).

At the commission’s meeting Tuesday, June 7th, no definite time was set by the coastal commission for concluding the LCP periodic review hearing process, said Pam Emerson, California Coastal Commission Los Angeles area supervisor.

Emerson said the next coastal commission meeting is scheduled for August, but that wouldn’t give ample time to reschedule the Marina LCP Periodic Review, so the November meeting would probably be the next meeting for the coastal commission to hear the LCP and make a decision regarding the Marina LCP.
