Westchester High School will host a “Safe Passages” community forum at the high school’s library, 7400 W. Manchester Ave., at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, October 22nd.

Safe Passages is a collaboration between the high school, local law enforcement and community members to keep students safe coming to and leaving school. It was initiated earlier this year by Principal Bruce Mims and others, and the public is invited to attend the forum.

Community members attended a Safe Passages meeting at the high school last month to discuss a number of reported crimes that occurred in the neighborhoods that surround Westchester High.
