The County of Los Angeles intends to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for the renovation of the Marina International Hotel, 4200 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey.

The draft MND concludes that the project, as modified with changes and conditions attached to the Initial Study, will not have a significant effect on the environment. An MND can be sought as an alternative to the more comprehensive environmental impact report when it has been determined that no environmental effects will occur.

The county Small Craft Harbor Commission is scheduled to consider the option to amend the lease agreement at its Wednesday, May 12th meeting.

Copies of the draft MND and Initial Study are available for public review through Friday, April 9th between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday (closed on Fridays) in the offices of the Department of Beaches and Harbors Administration Building, 13837 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey.

Comments should be sent at the earliest possible date, but no later than 6 p.m. April 9th.
