In partnership with Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, the Westside Family Health Center’s Shots for Tots and Teens will provide free immunizations and TB (tuberculosis) skin tests to all participating infants, adolescents and teenagers under the age of 18.
California law requires that all children must have up-to-date shot records to attend school or childcare centers.
The immunizations will protect against diphtheria, hepatitis B, measles, rubella, hemophilus influenza, mumps, polio, tetanus and whooping cough — diseases known to infect small children as well as teenagers, according to St. John’s Health Center.
The free immunizations are scheduled from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5th, at the Westside Family Health Center, 1711 Ocean Park Blvd., Santa Monica.
