Students at St. Anastasia School in Westchester will perform in “Godspell Junior,” based on the Broadway musical “Godspell,” on the Westchester High School stage Saturday and Sunday, February 27th and 28th.

“Godspell Junior” is this year’s St. Anastasia musical performance. The Godspell musical by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, which premiered on Broadway in 1970, is based on the Gospel of Matthew.

The St. Anastasia performance will feature colorful costumes, lots of dancing, and popular songs like “Day by Day.”

Over 65 children in grades four through eight will be singing and dancing on the stage of Westchester High School, 7400 Manchester Ave.

Performances are scheduled at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 27th and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 28th. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased ahead of time at St. Anastasia School, 8631 Stanmoor Drive, Westchester, or on the day of the performance at the auditorium.
