There will be a holiday moratorium on work on the street improvement project on Sepulveda Boulevard in Westchester from Saturday, December 1st, to Friday, January 4th.
The $8.2-million Sepulveda Boulevard improvement project stretches from Howard Hughes Parkway on the north to Lincoln Boulevard on the south. Work involves sidewalk work and landscaping, median installation and landscaping, installation of right- turn lanes at strategic locations, and tree plantings.
Crews broke ground this summer and will continue work, except for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, through the summer of 2009.
Construction hours are from 7 a.m. through 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
