Violinist Lesa Terry and her all-star rhythm section will headline the final free Jazz on the Lawn concert of the season from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28 on the front lawn of Santa Monica City Hall, 1685 Main St.
Terry’s band will play an eclectic mix of soulful sounds including blues, swing, bebop, Cuban, Brazilian, Middle Eastern and more.
The sixth annual Jazz on the Lawn summer concert series is sponsored by the Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Department. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic, blanket and beach chair to enjoy the show.
Dessert trucks Lake Street Creamery and A ROCKin ICE Hawaiian Shave Ice will offer frozen treats, while IZZE Beverage Company and O.N.E. Coconut Water will provide complimentary beverages.
Free bike valet will be provided at City Hall parking lot, and free parking is conveniently located nearby at the Civic Center Auditorium at 1855 Main St.
