Joe Crail resigned from the County Small Craft Harbor Commission Wednesday morning, January 11th.
Crail was an appointee of Supervisor Mike Antonovich and joined the commission on January 14th, 1992.
He has failed to attend numerous commission meetings. With Crail’s absences and one commission position vacant, the commission has had difficulty getting a quorum.
This week, the commission canceled its January meeting because of a lack of quorum.
The Argonaut learned Wednesday afternoon that Antonovich has already selected a replacement for Crail, but the name of the nominee is not being released until required paperwork on the nomination has been filed.
The nomination requires the approval of the full County Board of Supervisors.
